Conveniently run 1 cable for all your microphone inputs with bulk audio snake. But keep in mind not all audio snake is manucatured the same, and the range of pricing on the internet reflects that. Inside the singular outer jacketing you should have, for best quality, each chanel singularly jacketed and labeled. But the extra necessity for good manufactured snake is that each conductor within each channel is individually jacketed, and there is a ground wire along with outer insulation. When we use the term "channel" that is essentially the same as 1 mic line (or mic cable). The same is when the term "pair" (PR) is used. In all balanced microphone cable there are 2 conductors creating the balanced pair which affix to pin 2 & pin 3 of an XLR connector and the remaining ground going to pin 1. Some explanations use the wording "2 conductor" instead of "2 pair". Either way, the 2 pairs or conductors in each jacketed channel should have their own jacketing for best quality. And this quality requirement is especially important for installing with products like floor boxes, wall plates & wall panels because it supplies extra layers of protection against noise in applications where the installation is meant to be permanent. But you more commonly see snake wire in "fan to fan" or "box to fan" audio stage snakes so flexibility in the jacketing is another product feature you will want to consider when pricing since they are often rolled up in transport from show to show or in storage. So as a summary example, a single 8 channel or 8 pair snake would replace the need for 8 separate microphone cables.
